Dr. Morelli is an attending physician at University Reproductive Associates and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New Jersey Medical School. She received her undergraduate training at Cornell University where she earned multiple awards for academic excellence. She was awarded her M.D. with Distinction in Research from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital.

Dr Morelli is the Director of the Fellowship training program in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, the only one of its kind in the State of New Jersey.  She and Dr. Peter McGovern are responsible for the oversight of the clinical and investigative training of obstetricians / gynecologist seeking advanced training in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.

Dr. Morelli’s clinical interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, in vitro fertilization, and recurrent pregnancy loss. She has a specific research interest in disorders of the uterine lining (endometrium), and is the sole recipient of a prestigious grant awarded by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology/American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Foundation to study endometrial stem cells. She has published articles and book chapters on endometriosis, infertility, in vitro fertilization, ectopic pregnancy and menopause. She is committed to providing compassionate, thorough, and personalized care to each and every one of her patients.
