Nataki C. Douglas, MD, PhD joined University Reproductive Associates in April 2021 and sees patients at our Hoboken, New Jersey office.
Dr. Douglas is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine MD/PhD program. She completed her OBGYN residency and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Douglas entered the world of REI while conducting research for her PhD thesis at Yale. With the combination of her thesis work in the field of immunology and her role as a teaching assistant for a course entitled “Biology of Reproduction”, Dr. Douglas became fascinated with all the unanswered questions about the science of female reproduction. Her clinical rotations convinced her that women’s health and more specifically, women’s infertility was to be her focus. She is a board-certified REI subspecialist with over 10 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Douglas’ approach to infertility reflects her background in the science of reproduction. She also empathizes with the anxiety of infertility and the devastation of pregnancy loss. Every initial consultation begins with a thorough examination of overall reproductive health and a discussion of the “infertility journey”. This initial discussion helps Dr. Douglas to navigate the best course of treatment for individuals and couples to reach their goal of giving birth to a healthy baby.
Raised in New Providence, New Jersey, she now lives in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
