Fertility Experts, Dr. Peter McGovern and Dr. Adam Fechner to Discuss Ovarian Aging on AM970

[02/19/15] Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – It’s Conceivable: The Infertility Show, the weekly radio show that helps its listeners better understand infertility and its treatments on New York’s AM970 The Answer, will air at 3:30PM this Saturday, February 21. It’s Conceivable: The Infertility Show is hosted by Dr. Peter McGovern and Dr. Adam Fechner and is sponsored by University Reproductive Associates. This week’s show will talk about ovarian aging and the role it plays in reproduction.

Drs. McGovern and Fechner will review the process of a woman’s egg production all the way from birth through menopause. They will then explain why it really does get harder for a woman to achieve pregnancy as a woman gets older. Drs. McGovern and Fechner will discuss the various tests that are used to learn how the ovaries are functioning in each patient and what those results may mean in regards to reproduction.  Later in the show, Drs. McGovern and Fechner will also delve into how ovarian reserve testing is performed and when the optimum time is to administer those tests.
